Some commercially available relay couplers on the market trigger an inrush current that exceeds the capacity of low-power contacts, such as sensors activated by reed switch.

This is a fault that may be imperceptible in the operation of the devices. However, the most sensitive contacts are harmed, impacting on the loss of functionality.

To correct the problem identified in this application, we recommend to use a 4K7 10W resistor in series in the sensor installation.
